Acapulco Gold

Acapulco Gold is a distinct Mexican landrace sativa. Historically grown in the coastal mountains near Acapulco, its genetics were shaped by the specific microclimate of the region—intense sun, Pacific breezes, and rich soil. Unlike modern polyhybrids, its traits were stabilised by nature over generations.

The strain is famous for the golden hue of its buds, which some attribute to a specific curing process or the way the plant's chlorophyll degrades in its native environment.

Acapulco Gold is prized for its clear, energising, and mood-lifting effects. Users typically describe a motivating cerebral high that enhances perception and creativity without the paranoia or heaviness associated with some modern potent strains.

Its flavour profile is unique and difficult to find in modern markets: earthy, creamy, and slightly spicy with distinct notes of toffee or burnt sugar.
